Matt has over 35 years of real estate experience in all facets of the business. He gained incredible all-round experience in his first 13 years with Prudential Real Estate Investors (largest Landlord in the country at the time), advancing through several positions, including Development Manager for a $122 million mixed-use development in Coral Gables, Florida; Director of National Marketing responding to Prudential’s largest tenants across the country; and VP for the Denver Rocky Mountain Region responsible for 20 properties, totaling over 5 million square feet.

Matt started Vector in 1995, and under his leadership, the company’s assignments grew to include over 10 million SF of assignments, representing Landlord’s such as Principal Financial, General Electric Capital, Opus, Equity Office Properties, IRET, Griffis/Blessing, and Novel Coworking and Tenant’s such as Prudential, Wachovia, Citigroup, Verio, and Pioneer Natural Resources. During his career, he has leased over 9.6 million square feet of office space, including 1,000 plus transactions.

He has been recognized as an industry leader, selected as President of NAIOP Colorado Chapter, Chairman of the Office Council of the Downtown Denver Partnership, a perennial Denver Business Journal Heavy Hitter in real estate, and 3-time winner of Office Broker of the Year in the small shop category.

Matt received his MBA from the University of North Carolina, graduating in the top 5% of his class, and his Civil Engineering degree with High Honors from Clemson University. While at Clemson, Matt was also a 3-year letterman at linebacker, contributing to an ACC Championship and earning All ACC Academic Football honors. Matt has been married for 38 years with 2 wonderful children who have both graduated from CU Boulder. In his free time, he is a volunteer football coach.
